I've been doing photo blogging since before people had smart phones. I made my own website in plain html that I could post pictures to the web from my black & white Handspring module camera in 1999. I just had an FTP app and I'd name the photos the preprogrammed names (photo1.jpg or the like). It had a phone module. of course, which enabled me to send the FTP files. I was really living in the future. Later, I upgraded to COLOR with a Handspring Visor Deluxe. I was so happy!
Of course now, I'll be using my iPhone 6S+ and we all take Instagram/Flickr/Facebook/Tumblr/Twitter for granted. I was an early adopter on all these but overloaded on it all quite a while ago.
Photography kicked my artwork into orbit and now, I'm a full time artist. That's what my husband wanted and I am so thankful. I've made many really good photography friends, too. I think we're on to something!
I like to think that Tumblr shows my life off the best, of all social media, that's where what I post plus what I like goes. That may mean if you follow me on Facebook, also look at Tumblr and you'll see a lot of my fun stuff!
